Need help now? If anything on this site gets in your way, email notary@eronwa.com and we will book your appointment with you directly by email, without the booking panel or any online form.
Our commitment
E-RON WA wants everyone to be able to learn about and book a remote online notarization, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or other assistive technology.
The standard we follow
We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. The U.S. Department of Justice points businesses to WCAG as helpful guidance for making websites accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
How we check
- Every page is scanned with the axe-core accessibility checker against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules, at desktop and phone widths, with the cookie notice open.
- The booking panel on the home page is part of this site and is checked the same way, step by step, including its error messages and with the keyboard alone.
- Pages are walked with the keyboard to confirm each link, button and form field can be reached, shows where the focus is, and is never hidden behind other content. When the cookie notice is closed, none of its controls stay in the keyboard order.
- Pages declare their language, images carry text alternatives, form fields have labels, and the site works when zoomed or viewed on a phone, down to 320 pixels wide, without scrolling sideways.
What is not under our control
- Stripe’s checkout page, where the $10 booking fee is paid, is run by Stripe. We cannot change how it works. If it is hard to use, email us and we will book you directly.
- The notarization session takes place on a secure third-party notarization platform required for remote online notarization. If you need an accommodation during your session, tell us when you book and we will work with you on it before the appointment.
Feedback
If you find a part of this site that is hard to use, please tell us at notary@eronwa.com. Say which page and what happened, and we will reply within two business days. A problem that stops you from booking is fixed first.
